GAA

Membership: Members are reminded that their annual subscription is now due and should be paid to Kit O’Halloran or Johnny Wall immediately. It is vital that all members have paid their subscriptions in full at the earliest possible date.
Mackey Draw: The Limerick GAA Development Draw will once again be a major fundraiser for Bruree GAA during 2010. This year’s draw features all cash prizes for the ten draws with a top prize in each draw of €18,000 and prizes of €5,000, €2,000 and €1,500 as well as numerous lesser prizes. The subscription is €10 per draw or €100 for the year. You can join the draw with any of the clubs promoters.
Championship: Bruree have a very tough draw for this year’s senior hurling championship. Bruree play Adare in the first round in mid May and have also drawn Na Piarsaigh and Croom.
Harty Cup: Best wishes to Charleville CBS in the Harty Cup final due to be played at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday week. Bruree has no representative on this year’s panel but Con Simcox represented Bruree the last time the team reached a final. This was way back in 1938.

Parent Baby and Toddler Group

The parent, baby and toddler group meet every Tuesday at Bruree National School hall from 10.00 to 12.00 am. Parents/grandparents are invited to come along and enjoy a chat with other parents over a nice cup of tea whilst your little ones enjoy playing and socialising with other kids their own size. There is lots of fun to be had!! People from all surrounding areas are very welcome. Contact Helen (087-9412600), Margie (086-0747581) or just come along on Tuesday at 10.00 am. See you there.
