Bruree Notes 2/5/2011

Rambling House 
Bruree National School Parents Association will hold a Rambling House at Bruree National School on this Friday, May 6th, 2011, starting at 8.30 pm. Participating will be pupils of the school and many local artists and anyone who would like to be part of the event should contact 086-2103751. Tea/coffee will be served and admission is only €5.
Children must be accompanied by a parent and all proceeds will go to Bruree National School. 
45 Drive 
Winners of last week’s 45 Drive with nine games were Sean Blake and Katherine O’Regan and Anne Potter and partners. Raffle prizes went to Mary Noonan, Sean Healy, Sean Blake and Tom O’Rourke. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp. 
Alzheimer Tea Day 
On this Thursday May 5th, a special coffee morning will be held at Beech Lodge Care Facility, Bruree, to raise funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The tea day begins at 11am and refreshments will be served. All are welcome 
 
Pilgrimage 
There will be a pilgrimage to Knock on Saturday, June 4th for All Ireland Rosary Rally Day. The fare is only €6 as the bus has been partly sponsored by a generous donation. Names and fares to be handed together and early booking is advisable. Contact Ann Mockler at 063-90564 for further details. 
Lotto  
Lucky dip winners in last week's Bruree GAA/Rockhill Rovers lotto were €50 Jerry McCarthy €25 Kelly Gaughan, Kilmallock, Tom O’Riordan, Granagh €20 Johanna Huighes, Rockhill, Catherine Sexton, Jacinta Kilmartin, Tipperary. 
Thanks A Bunch 
Mildred O’Dea would once again like to thank everybody who donated so generously to her recent coffee morning in aid of Daffodil Day. Some more donations have come in making the final collected €750. 
Sympathy
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Sr. Agnes Herlihy, Clonakilty and Lisballyhea, who died recently.
