Clerks Collection

The Parish Clerks collection will be held at Rockhill on Saturday, August 27th and at Bruree on Sunday, August 28th. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated.

Fenians

The launch of a new book entitles Kilmallock Fenians - Retrieving Their Story by Imelda (Garvey) O’Riordan will take place at Deebert House Hotel in Kilmallock on this Friday, 19th August, at 7.30 pm. All are welcome to attend. The book will be launched by Dr Catherine O'Conner Dept of History UL and special guest speaker on the night will be historian and author, Bill Power. Copies of the book will be on sale on the night and in various outlets in Kilmallock and surrounding areas after the launch. .

45 Drive

Winners of last week’s 45 Drive were Eddie O’Dea and Ann Frawley and Josephine Lynch and Noreen Hayes with eight games. Table prizes went to Brendan O’Kelly and Seamus Sexton and Tom O’Rourke and John Moloney. Raffle prizes went toTom O’Rourke, Patsy Healy, Ann Frawley and John Moloney. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.
