COMMUNITY GAMES:

Congratulations to Brian McCarthy who won a bronze medal at the National finals of Community Games in Athlone in the Under 12 Cycling on Grass competition. Brian qualified in fourth place in the semi-finals on Saturday and then completed the cycle race of his life on Sunday to finish in third place. Well done, Brian!!.

JUVENILE GAA:

Under 14 football: Our U14 Footballers went out of the Football championship at the semi-final stage to Shamrock Gaels in Bruree. To say that the night wasn’t conducive to football would be an understatement with high winds and driving rain from the throw in to the final whistle. Despite this our lads put up a game performance and gave it their all. On the night Shamrock Gaels took their chances well and we wish them the best of luck in the final.

THANK YOU:

The parish clerk in Bruree would like to thank everyone for their generosity to her collection last weekend. It is really appreciated
