Team Hope Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

This is an appeal from Team Hope to help children in poverty all over the world. Team Hope is brought to you by people all over Ireland helping children from Eastern Europe and Southern Africa to have a Christmas of hope. Please pack a shoe box full of toys, something to love, sweet treats, stationery, hygiene items, or small items of clothing. Cover the box with nice paper but cover the lid separately. Please do not put in food, medicine, war related items, snakes, anything sharp or breakable, liquids or books with words. You can include a Christmas card or a photograph of yourself. Remember also to put in €3 for transport. Last year, 14,052 boxes were sent to Lesotho, Armenia and Belarus from Limerick. Make sure to bring your shoe box to Bruree National School before November 5th. For more details contact the school at 063-90896.

Holy Souls

On Sunday, November 7th, a bus will leave Bruree Church at 9.45 am for Eddie Stones in Clonfert. The fare is €13 and must be all paid up before departure. As we want to put that amount of time praying for the Holy Souls bring your Holy Souls list and sandwiches. For further information contact Ann Mockler at 063-90564. All are welcome.
