GAA

Membership: Members are reminded that their annual subscription is now due and should be paid to Kit O’Halloran or Johnny Wall immediately. It is vital that all members have paid their subscriptions in full at the earliest possible date.

Mackey Draw: The Limerick GAA Development Draw will once again be a major fundraiser for Bruree GAA during 2010. This year’s draw features all cash prizes for the ten draws with a top prize in each draw of €18,000 and prizes of €5,000, €2,000 and €1,500 as well as numerous lesser prizes. The subscription is €10 per draw or €100 for the year. You can join the draw with any of the clubs promoters.

Collection

The collections for the parish clerks will take place in Rockhill on this Saturday, February 12th and in Bruree on this Sunday, February 13th. Your usual generosity would be greatly appreciated.

Juvenile GAA

Membership: Membership for 2011 will be €5 per child with a cap of €20 for any number of children from the one family. This is now due and can be paid to any of the club officers.

45 Drive

Winners of the 45 Drive last week with ten games were Mary Margaret Noonan and Nora May Donworth. Runners up with nine games were Brendan O’Kelly and Patsy Healy. Raffle prizes were won by Mary Margaret Noonan, Mary Noonan, John Moloney and Tom Hanley. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.

Chicago

The Banogue production of the musical Chicago Jazz opens this weekend and plays over this weekend and next. Be there early to get the best seats.

Thank You

The Friends of St. Ita's Community Hospital would like to thank everyone who contributed so generously to their recent collection in the parish. Over €422 was donated.

Lotto

Last week's jackpot of €6,300 in the Bruree GAA/Rockhill Rovers lotto was won by Mike McGrath, Bruree. Mike's winning numbers were 4,7,10 and 24. The seller of the winning ticket was Margaret Thompson.

Sympathy

We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Sean Fitzgerald,Cappanafarraha, who died recently.
