Bruree Notes 4/5/2009

GAA
Dogs: Dog owners are asked to refrain from walking their dogs in the sportsfield. Many adults and children use the sportsfield on a regular basis and there is a serious health danger from dog excrement. Please have consideration for those who want a safe place to engage in sporting activities.
Lá na gClubanna: Bruree GAA is currently planning events to tie in with the nationwide Lá na gClubanna on Sunday, May 12th to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of the GAA. There will be Mass in the Bruree church at 11.30 am in memory of all deceased members of the club. There will be a parade of members of the juvenile club to the sportsfield immediately after mass. At the sportsfield there will be some fun activities for all the family. Everyone is invited to participate and help celebrate the contribution of the GAA to the parish and the country over the past 125 years.
Membership: Any members who have not already paid are reminded that their membership fee is now well overdue. This is €10 for adults and €2 for juvenile members. Please co-operate by paying yours immediately.
