bruree notes 12th september 2009

SCHOOL
Seventeen new pupils started in Junior Infants at St. Patrick’s National School this year. We wish them all the best in the education careers.

BRUREE PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP
Bruree Parent and Toddler Group continues every Tuesday morning from 10-noon in Bruree National School. It is open to everyone looking after pre school children and we would be delighted to welcome you to the group. For further information please contact Judy on 087-6256906 or 063-90468.

Fixture: Sunday, September 13 U21 hurling v Garryspillane at Bruree at 12.30 pm

45 DRIVE
Winners of the 45 Drive last week with eight games were Mary Noonan and Ann Frawley and Jim O’Connor and Eddie Ryan. The table prizes went to Mike Moloney and Caroline Fitzgerald and Noreen Hayes and Josephine Lynch. Raffle prizes went to Patsy Healy, Josephine Lynch, Marie Healy and Katherine O’Regan. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.3 pm.

SYMPATHY
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, Relatives and friends of Charlie Buckley, Athlacca, Jack Flynn, Feenagh, Jim Murphy, Rockhill, and Nora Flanagan, Cappinahane, who died recently.
