Bruree Notes 25/10/2009

GAA

Players Development Fund: Bruree GAA is holding its Player Development Fund annual draw again this year. The 2009 draw has €1,000 in cash as a first prize in each of four weekly draws. There will also be one prize of €200 and three of €100 for each draw. And the good news is that the subscription is still the same - just €20 for the four draws. The first draw will be held on Monday, November 30th, with the other draws on subsequent Monday nights. Contact any member of Bruree GAA to join the draw.

AGM: Bruree GAA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, November 14th.

Collection: Bruree GAA will hold its annual church gate collection on the weekend of October 31st/November 1st. Your generosity would be appreciated.

Hip-Hop Dancing

There will be no hip hop classes this week.

Sympathy

We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Hannah O’Connor, Water Street, and Michael Lynch, Garrouse, who died recently.

Commemoration

J.K. Bracken’s contribution to the Gaelic Athletic Association will be marked in Tankardstown and Kilmallock on Saturday, October 31st, as part of the Limerick County Board’s 125th anniversary celebrations. Mass and a wreath laying ceremony will take place at Tankardstown graveyard at 2.00 pm. The J.K. Bracken memorial there has been refurbished by XXXX. This will be followed by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at Kilmallock Sports Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be refreshments at the Centre afterwards.
