BRUREE NOTES 8/1/2012

45 DRIVE:

Winners of last week’s 45 Drive were Noreen Hayes and Josephine Lynch with eight games. Runners up with seven games were Eugene Grant and Joe Carey and Ann Potter and partner. Raffle prizes went to Marie Healy, Mary Noonan, Patsy Healy and Evelyn Byrnes. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.

ROCKHILL ROVERS:

Rockhill Rovers played their first game of the New Year on Sunday against Pallaskenry, beating those 2-0. It was a good performance from the lads and a good start to the year and were it not for their goalkeeper, the winning margin could have been a lot more. The goals came from a headed effort from Michael Lane and a screamer of a shot from Kieran O'Rourke.

LOTTO:
