The next car boot sale will be held on Saturday, October 27th. Proceeds of the sale go towards the sportsfield development. Sellers can set up from 8.00 am and the admission is €10 for cars or €15 for vans. The sale is open to the public from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and admission is just €2 for adults. Children are admitted free. Tea and refreshments will be available. One of the most popular stalls at the last few sales has been the fresh, local, vegetable stall and this will be there again for the October sale.

Bruree Juvenile GAA Annual General Meeting will be held in the School on Friday November 2nd at 9.00 pm. All are welcome. We would particularly welcome new members/parents on the night.

Liam Lawton will perform in concert at Ballyagran Church on Friday, December 7th. This is a fundraiser for Ballyagran Camogie Club and tickets are available from club members.

The Holy Souls special night in Emmanuel House, Clonfert, will take place on Sunday, November 4th. It will be led by Eddie Stones and various priests. There will be a pick up in Bruree and the names (with fare of €20) should be given to Ann Mockler (063-90564). All are welcome.

This year’s 16th Annual Bruree Indoor Hurling continues this week with the Under 6s and Under 8s age group playing on Monday from 6.45 to 8.45 pm approx. Please note the change to the Under 10/12 indoor Hurling from Thursday night to Friday night on Friday, 26th October, and Friday, 2nd November, due to 6th class attending Secondary School open nights. The start time remains the same.  After the dates mentioned it will return to Thursday night as usual for the rest of the competition unless told other wise.
This competition is once again kindly sponsored by Mr. Ray Moloney.

The Annual General Meeting of Bruree GAA will be held at Bruree School on Thursday, November 8th, commencing at 8.00 pm sharp. Membership for 2013 will be collected on the night.
