ROCKHILL ROVERS:
Rockhill 1 Kilcornan 0 Rockhill played Kilcornan in the league starting with what has been one of the strongest panels they have had in a few years. In a tight game, there were few chances in the first half chance until Donie Deady hit the post midway through the half. Not long after, Tom O’Shea got his third goal in three games with a fantastic chip over the Kilcornan ‘keeper to send Rockhill in 1-0 up at the break. The second half was tit for tat and the highlight of the half was a fantastic free kick from a Kilcornan substitute, which was brilliantly pushed onto the post by the Rockhill ‘keeper, Charlie O' Shea. Rockhill saw the game out to record their second win of the season and hopefully we can keep up the good work. It was great to see Paddy Kelly back in the side also, a welcome addition to the team.
