Membership: The annual membership subscription is now overdue and should be paid to Kit O’Halloran immediately. The membership fee for 2010 is €20 for adults. Any player will not be allowed participate in training or play in games until such time as they have paid their membership fee.

45 DRIVE



Winners of the 45 Drive last week with eight games were Mary Margaret Noonan and Nora May Donworth and Jim O’Connor and Eddie Ryan. Raffle prizes went to Mary Margaret Noonan, John Moloney, Martin Carroll and Brendan O’Kelly. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.

Bruree Rockhill Community Childcare Ltd would like to say thank you to everyone who supported us in our Easter Raffle which was held on Thursday April 1st last in the Central Bar. We would like to say a special thank you to Beechinors and Tim Cahill Hardware, both of Kilmallock, who kindly donated spot prizes to us. Also a kind thank you to our neighbours Dromin Athlacca Community Childcare who gave us a generous donation.



We would also like to express our sincerest sympathies to Mai McKiernan, Chairperson of Bruree Rockhill Community Childcare Ltd and one of the original founding members of our Parent & Toddler Group on the recent death of her mother, Mrs. Bridget Lyons.



EASTER AT BEECH LODGE



The Easter Bunny took time out of his busy schedule to visit Beech Lodge Care Facility on Sunday for their annual Easter party. There was a big cheer when the guest of honour arrived shortly after 2.30 pm with sacks of chocolate eggs in tow. Some of Beech Lodge’s residents and relations enjoyed buns, sweets and refreshments as local choir The Blackbirds performed some songs. The party was hailed as a huge success by all.
