JUVENILE GAA

Summer Coaching Week: Completed Summer Camp forms should be returned to the appropriate team mentor or to the club secretary, Mike Lyons, immediately.

Under 14 Hurling: Our Under 14 hurlers traveled to Kilfinane to play Blackrock. This turned out to be an exciting game with each side winning a half and ending up even at the final whistle. The sides were evenly matched for most of the first half until Bruree conceded three goals on the trot just before the break. This left the half time score Bruree 0-3 Blackrock 3-3. Bruree conceded another goal immediately after the resumption to go thirteen points in arrears. Bruree then found renewed spirit and made a dramatic comeback, scoring three goals and six points in the final quarter to force a draw. The final score was Bruree 3-10 Blackrock 5-4.

Under 14 Football: At Bruree, we played host to a very strong Monagea side. Bruree gave of their best before losing on an 8-7 to 2-3 scoreline.
