PRE-SCHOOL
Bruree Rockhill Community Childcare Limited intends to open a Pre-School Facility in the heart of Bruree Village from September 2010. We will be taking part in the ECCE (Free Preschool Year) scheme and will also be offering places under the Community Childcare Subvention Scheme (CCSS). FLOWER SHOW
We are reminded that the annual flower show in Kilmallock takes place on July 28/29th in the Peoples Hall. Entries close on July 24th and entries will be taken locally by Margaret Johnson (063)90575.

45 DRIVE
Winners of the 45 Drive last week with nine games were Mary Margaret Noonan and Nora May Donworth. Runners up with eight games were Marie Healy and Tommie O’Riordan. Raffle prizes were won by Peggy Cronin, James o’Connor, Tommie O’Riordan and Eddie O’Dea. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.

JUVENILE GAA
Over seventy children participated in the Bruree GAA annual summer coaching week at Bruree sports field last week. Thanks to all those who gave of their time very generously to coach the participants and to help out during the week. The week finished on Friday night with some hurling and football games and the presentation of certificates, kit bags, sliothars and refreshments. County senior hurling selector, John Tuohy, and county senior hurler, James O’Brien, were on hand to do the presentations and to encourage the youngsters.
SYMPATHY
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Rita Kelleher, Crecora, and Charlie Hennessy, Kilmallock, who died recently.
