Over seventy children participated in the Bruree GAA annual summer coaching week at Bruree sports field last week. Thanks to all those who gave of their time very generously to coach the participants and to help out during the week. The week finished on Friday night with some hurling and football games and the presentation of certificates, kit bags, sliothars and refreshments. County senior hurling selector, John Tuohy, and county senior hurler, James O’Brien, were on hand to do the presentations and to encourage the youngsters.
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Rita Kelleher, Crecora, and Charlie Hennessy, Kilmallock, who died recently.
