Bruree Notes 9/1/2011

Congrats

Congratulations to Bruff RFC on winning the Munster Senior Cup. The team was captained by Cathal O’Regan and also included Brendan Deady. Well done to all involved.

GAA

Membership: Members are reminded that their annual subscription is now due and should be paid to Kit O’Halloran or Johnny Wall immediately. It is vital that all members have paid their subscriptions in full at the earliest possible date.

Juvenile GAA

Membership for 2011 will be €5 per child with a cap of €20 for any number of children from the one family. This is now due and can be paid to any of the club officers.

Sympathy

We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Hannah O’Keeffe,Ballingarry, who died recently.

45 Drive

Winners of the 45 Drive last week with eleven games were John and Marie Healy. Runners up with nine games were Tom Collins and Patsy Healy and Mary Margaret Noonan and Nora May Donworth. Raffle prizes were won by Joe Carey, Fintan Stone, Donal Hannon and Sean Blake. The 45 Drive continues in the Community Centre every Tuesday night, starting at 8.30 pm sharp.

Lotto

Lucky dip winners in the Bruree GAA/Rockhill Rovers lotto draw over the past two weeks were €50 Geraldine Coleman c/o Nuala Leslie, M. Honour

Congratulations to Sr. Consilio on being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire(MBE) in recognition of her lifelong work with individuals and families involved with alcohol and substance abuse.
